02   Our Vision

A world of dialogue, understanding and shared human flourishing.

We envision a more connected and humane world, where different cultures, disciplines and perspectives engage in dialogue, and where international relations contribute to the wellbeing of people and societies.

03   Our Approach

Understanding civilisations for a more connected world.

We explore how different civilisations think about the human being, a good life, knowledge, society, nature, beauty, death and the Other — and how these ideas live on today.

By bringing together diverse intellectual traditions and contemporary perspectives, we open space for dialogue, new insights and more nuanced approaches to global challenges.

Culture & Heritage.
Dialogue, Knowledge & Science.
Wellbeing & Human Flourishing.

These three dimensions run across all areas of Human Diplomacy, shaping how we research, learn, collaborate and contribute to international understanding and cooperation.

Natalia Beliakova

Founder, Human Diplomacy

Natalia Beliakova is an independent researcher and international relations specialist working across cultural diplomacy, cross-cultural communication and human wellbeing.

With an academic background in International Relations and Law, her work combines research, cultural fieldwork and international collaboration, with a particular focus on the Gulf, Türkiye and the Mediterranean.

Her interests span culture and heritage, intellectual traditions, human wellbeing and the ways ideas continue to shape contemporary societies.

“Living across cultures taught me that the same world can be understood in very different ways. Human Diplomacy grew from my desire to explore those differences, and create a space where they can meet.”

08   Collaborate

Human Diplomacy grows through collaboration across cultures, disciplines and sectors.

We welcome connections with researchers, universities, governments, international organisations, cultural institutions, think tanks, foundations, businesses, practitioners and communities.

We are open to research, publications, international projects, education, cultural initiatives, conferences, advisory work and institutional partnerships.

Different disciplines. Different cultures. Different perspectives.

One shared space where they meet.

Have an idea? Let’s build something meaningful together.
